The game uses a mixture of gambling icons and unique symbols to populate the reels. 10, J, Q, K, and A are wonderfully stylised to make them fit into the slot, but they offer the exact same amount of money, forming the lower paying bracket. The medium paying icons are a bird, a cat, and a jackal, and finally, the highest paying tier are the priestess and pharaoh.
There are only two special symbols in the game, and both of them are Wilds. The golden Wild can substitute any icon except the other Wild, but it can appear in free spins. Phoenix Wilds, on the other hand, can also substitute for all symbols, but cannot appear during free spins.
Instead, Phoenix Wilds are used to trigger said free spins, by collecting 5 of them in a row. Each time a Phoenix Wild appears on the grid, they will temporarily expand it, and you can ultimately expand your playing field from a 5×3 reel to a 5×6 one.
How to play Phoenix Sun
We like clean user interfaces with a lot of options, and Phoenix Sun does both. All the adjustable things have been put into the menu, which is rather easy to navigate with your touch screen, even if the colour choice is perhaps a bit out of place for this particular slot.
