Grand Spinn is a super elegant fruit machine, which we’re not too keen on. It is played on a 3×3 board with only one fixed payline. To win, players must collect three identical symbols in adjacent positions, starting with the leftmost reel. And since there’s just one payline, you’ll know immediately if you’ve scored a win or not.
Have no fear, there’s more to this game than just the very basics of gameplay. It has a rather cool Nudge special feature, which continues shifting the reels to award more wins. Wilds also come with an attached multiplier, increasing your wins. With enough Wilds, you could increase your prize by 8x, which is a pretty sweet score.
How to Play Grand Spinn
Design wise, we’re on the fence. Art Deco still looks quite distinct compared to everything else. That said, it’s not so radically different that it can carry the entire release by itself. It feels very basic compared to other slots launched by NetEnt. Barely any cool animations, and the background, while colourful, is rather plain.
Icon designs are where this game truly loses us, however. We understand it’s a call-back to the fruit machines of old, but that’s no excuse to rehash old habits. This being NetEnt, the fruits look gorgeous, and we do like the matching plates they’re served on. But when we look at these, we just wonder how great a release with actual effort would’ve looked instead.
