Gemix is an innovative video slot developed by Play’n Go in December 2014 that launched simultaneously on desktop and mobile. With 7×7 grid replacing conventional reels and paylines, the mobile slot offers frequent wins on the game screen, while also providing gamers with a fair share of opportunities to improve their line wins.
The highly entertaining game takes player on the journey through three different worlds, headlined by a bearder miner, adorable girl with a lollipop and a friendly wizard, looking to help turn those random combinations into instant credit wins. How to play Gemix
When it comes to gameplay, Gemix is definitely not your average mobile slot, as seven reels and as many rows of symbols would suggest. There are no standard paylines included, but pays are rather awarded each time five or more matching symbols are touching horizontally and/or diagonally. The best thing here is that all icons that form a winning combination disappear, allowing others to fall in their place and creating additional winning opportunities.
This should ensure that wins not only occur on virtually ever spin of the reels, but you will also get successive wins on a single spin more often than not. And while these are not exactly life-changing, base line payouts are much better than in most similar games. With 50-coin bet compulsory, all you need to do is select total bet from $0.50 to $100 and you will be good to go.
Bet, Settings, Auto Play and Paytable tabs appear when you tap the Menu icon found in the bottom right hand corner, and these sections will allow you to customize your gaming experience as well as learn more about the game itself. The game contains three Wild icons that can appear on non-winning spins, with each Wild reserved for one of three game worlds.
Jackpots & Progressives
The fixed 50-coin bet may prove to be an issue for amateur players, but at least the game offers you a decent chance to not only win your stake back but also earn some credits in the process. Any combination of 15 or more yellow star icons touching on the reels awards 50,000 coins, which is equal to 500x total bet. You also need to bear in mind that successive wins can be quite frequent due to those disappearing symbols.
Bonus Game and Sign-Ups
Crystal Charge feature is activated when at least 20 winning symbols occur on a single spin, triggering one of the following perks. Nova Blast makes one symbol explode, destroying and transforming adjacent icons. Crystal Warp targets one symbol, while all matching icons are warped to other symbols. Light Beam makes one icon shoot light beams, where symbols hit are transformed. Chain Lighting connects two corner symbols with a chain lighting, where all icons in the way are transformed to one of the corner icons.
If you land 40 or more winning symbols, Super Charge feature is triggered, where all wins are multiplied by x3. You can clear world patterns by winning on indicated positions, with World Bonus amount awarded each time this occurs.
