The five reel ten payline video slot celebrates old school boxing, with the game title used to describe fighting without gloves. Fisticuffs does not have a bonus game or free spins round per se, but it, nonetheless, offers endless ways to drive up your earnings. Boxing Feature is likely to win you the most bonus credits, but Straight Wild, Diagonal Wild, Stacked Wilds and Win Both Ways will also come in handy in an attempt to turn a profit.
How to play Fisticuffs
The interesting thing here is that while the game only has ten paylines, 20 coins is the minimum bet, but this is due to the presence of Win Both Ways feature that doubles any payout when five matching symbols occur on a payline. Having said that, the game is played at fixed ten paylines, with at least three matching symbols needed for a payout.
Tap settings button located in the top right corner to access bet settings and choose your preferred bet size. Select coin value from $0.01 and $1, and wager between 1 and 10 coins per line. While you make the selections, total bet in cash and coins is displayed above. Chubby Boxer is Straight Wild and it only appears on central reel, substituting for all game symbols without exception. If one or two Diagonal Wilds appear on the same row, Straight Wild punches Diagonal Wild to reel 1 and/or 5, transforming all symbols between them into Wilds. Skinny Boxer is Diagonal Wild and it only occurs on reels 2 and 4. If one or two of these appear diagonally to Straight Wild, the Skinny Boxer punches his opponent, transforming the symbol above or below into an extra Wild.
Jackpots & Progressives
Fisticuffs is a non-progressive video slot and it does not offer impressive payouts in the main game, although there is a good reason why that is the case. Given that it is equipped with two Wild icons that not only expand but also turn nearby symbols into substitutes, winning combinations do occur more frequently than in some other games. Having said that, championship belt is the highest paying symbol, awarding between 500 and 5,000 credits for five matching icons, depending on bet level.
Bonus Game and Sign-Ups
The Boxing Feature is triggered when Skinny Boxer and Chubby Boxer appear next to each other either horizontally or diagonally on the game screen. Adjacent symbols are then turned into Wilds and they remain on the reels for one free re-spin. Any five matching symbols on a payline is Win Both Ways and this pays double the amount displayed in the paytable.
